Maintenance Coordinator

The maintenance coordinator’s job is to make sure all facilities and grounds are in the best possible condition for guest groups. Basic duties include grounds keeping, basic construction and repair/renovation of new and existing buildings, painting, plumbing, electrical, concrete, sheet rock, vehicle and equipment maintenance, ropes course operation, and water and sewer system upkeep. General Employee

Our general employees wear many hats. A majority of their time is spent in the kitchen serving food and cleaning up after meals and out on the grounds cleaning bathrooms and accommodations. We also help facilitate some activities for many of our groups: Ropes Course, Archery Tag, and Paintball! These, along with working in the Snack Shack, provide a fun way to interface with campers. When searching for candidates for these positions we often look for self-motivated team players with a really good attitude who are willing to go above and beyond. Summer Staff

We hire 15-18 seasonal summer staff each year. Responsibilities for summer staff are similar to those of our general employees. Some of our summer staff are local and drive to and from their shifts. This position pays $16 per hour.

Summer House Mom

We are hiring a summer house mom this year! The ideal candidate would be a super responsible adult who loves to interact with young people ages 16-22 but isn’t afraid to lay down the law. Responsibilities include managing a dormstyle household of 6-10 young people, supervising free time, making sure all resident staff uphold the housing contract, making sure Manor House is kept clean, assisting with turn over and other jobs around camp as needed. Housing is provided in Manor House. Meals are included when we have guest groups on site. Must commit to the whole summer season of June 11 - August 6. This position pays $4000 for the 8 week season.

Lifeguard

Lifeguarding is a seasonal summer position. Persons applying for this position must have an active lifeguard certification. Along with the general lifeguarding duties the person in this position will also take care of the pool by cleaning up the pool deck, vacuuming and skimming the pool, and taking and recording chemical readings under supervision of our maintenance coordinator. There is also an opportunity to combine this position with that of a summer staff position to receive more working hours. After your first completed summer in good standing, receive a $125 bonus. After your second completed summer in good standing, receive another $125 bonus essentially paying for your lifeguard certification.
