Driving Directions
From Sacramento:
- Take Interstate 80 East to Auburn.
- Exit on Highway 49 to Grass Valley (The camp is approximately 28 miles North).
- Hwy 49 becomes a Freeway as it enters Grass Valley.
- Once you pass the Broad Street exit in Nevada City, move to the left lane and watch for the sign: Hwy 49 - Downeyville. Turn left there.
- Turn Right at the first stop light (North Bloomfield Road). You are about six miles from you destination.
- N Bloomfield Road comes to a T-intersection within the first 1/2 mile.
- Turn right at the T intersection and continue on North Bloomfield Road until you reach Diamond Arrow.
From Lake Tahoe:
- Take Interstate 80 West to Colfax take Hwy 174 into Grass Valley (Hwy 49/20).
- Go North past the Broad Street exit and follow the directions above, beginning at the fourth bullet point.
Or take the scenic route
from Lake Tahoe:
- From just after Emmigrant's Gap (on Interstate 80 West) take the Hwy 20 exit.
- Stay on Hwy 20 till you reach the sign indicating a right turn to Hwy 49 - Downeyville.
- Turn Right on to Hwy 49.
- Turn Right at the first stop light (North Bloomfield Road). You are about six miles from you destination.
- N Bloomfield Rd comes to a T-intersection within the first 1/2 mile.
- Turn right at the T-intersection and continue on N Bloomfield till you reach Diamond Arrow.
