Local Summer Staff
Looking for a meaningful summer job with flexibility? Local Summer Staff serve in areas like kitchen, cleaning, and snack shack while commuting to their shifts. You’ll work hard, gain valuable experience, and be part of a positive, Christ-centered environment—with optional opportunities to engage in spiritual activities along the way.
Lifeguard
Lifeguarding is a seasonal summer position. Persons applying for this position must have an active lifeguard certification. Along with the general lifeguarding duties the person in this position will also take care of the pool by cleaning up the pool deck, vacuuming and skimming the pool, and taking and recording chemical readings under supervision of our maintenance coordinator. There is also an opportunity to combine this position with that of a summer staff position to receive more working hours. After your first completed summer in good standing, receive a $125 bonus. After your second completed summer in good standing, receive another $125 bonus essentially paying for your lifeguard certification.
Second Cook
We are seeking a Second Cook to join our summer food service team. This seasonal position works closely with the Head Cook to prepare, serve, and clean up meals for our campers and staff. The Second Cook will lead at least one meal each day and help supervise a team of young adult kitchen assistants. We’re looking for someone who is ministry-minded, team-oriented, and has prior kitchen experience. If you love serving others through food and hospitality in a Christ-centered environment, this is a great opportunity to spend your summer making a difference! This position runs from mid-May to mid-August and includes dorm style housing and meals (when provided to campers).
